Inhabitants of sleepy Inishmaan are excited to learn of a Hollywood film crew's arrival to make a documentary. "Cripple" Billy Claven, eager to escape the bullying and hand-to-mouth existence of Inishmaan, is desperate to be part of the film, and sets sail to chase his dreams. This comedy begins the award-winning playwright Martin McDonagh's trilogy about life on the Aran Islands.
