by Paula Vogel

Take a ride down a dark, rural Maryland back road in this coming of age drama that earned the 1998 Pulitzer Prize for Best Play.  Tinged with nostalgia, humor and heartache, "How I Learned To Drive" concerns a middle aged woman's look back on the events of her youth and the inappropriate relationship she had with her uncle.  Much more than a tale of sexual abuse, Ms. Vogel's drama is a story of love, forgiveness, growth and survival, ultimately demonstrating the presence of gifts in the most unhealthy relationships.
