an original MET play
How is it that political cartoons can infuriate entire segments of the population while making the other half laugh? How is it that organized religion saves and inspires its followers while driving non-believers to violence? In the tradition of "Planet Claire," "Democracy: A Work in Progress," and "Skin Deep," MET will explore the effects of comedy and spirituality in today's polarized society with another original work that is certain to provoke laughter and thought.
