No Christmas tale is spared from being roasted in this uproarious comedy with music that puts a new twist on the Dickens classic.  Mrs. Bob Cratchit (a.k.a. Gladys Cratchit) gets the spotlight when the Ghost of Christmas Past erringly and repeatedly transports Scrooge to the humble home of his clerk.  Here, Scrooge finds a kindred human spirit in the long-suffering Gladys, who has confined her 20 children to the root cellar and considers jumping off the London Bridge in this funny yuletide romp.
