Unfurled (Male)

Unfurled (Lyrics)

[Sherlock]

Life is infinitely stranger
Than anything which the mind of man could invent I find myself in danger
Of a permanence to my solitary discontent
I’m folded, folded up and tucked in tight
Safe behind these walls that I have made Inside, I try to make some sense of this world It’s hard to see the light while in the shade
For all I see
And for all I know
It seems to me an insensible world
The most perplexing thing
I can’t let go
Who might be found if I’m unfurled

Mystery of Me (Male or Female)

Mystery of Me (Lyrics)

[Chorus]

The world is a mystery

A puzzle to be solved

Seeking the answers

I want to know it all

Shrouded in secrecy

I know I can find the way

Clues are elusive things

but they can set me/us free

O`bservation will faithfully reveal

The mystery of Me

Come on Sherlock (Lyrics)

Watson]
Come on Sherlock, it’s up to you
It’s quite obvious, the cops don’t have a clue

{Sherlock: That is true}

[Watson]

Surely Sherlock, you can figure this out
It’s elementary, for you without a doubt
{Sherlock: you don’t have to shout

[Watson]

Clearly Sherlock, here’s a chance to use your brain
Think of all we have to gain

SIDES

Sherlock/Watson

(It is late at night. Sherlock is in his corner when Watson

comes in. )

SHERLOCK

You’re out late.

WATSON

You’re stating the obvious.

SHERLOCK

Were you with Mary?

WATSON

Why do you care?

SHERLOCK

I was merely trying to engage in casual conversation.

WATSON

Why?

SHERLOCK

Based on my observation, casual conversation is

something friends do.

WATSON

I thought the brilliant Sherlock didn’t need friends.

SHERLOCK

That was my original assessment yes, but upon further

examination I’ve determined that some social

interaction might be a positive occurrence.

WATSON

Really?

SHERLOCK

Yes. I think perhaps having a friend would benefit me.

WATSON

Sherlock you aren’t friends with someone just for the

benefits. That’s something very different.

SHERLOCK

It is?

WATSON

Yes.

SHERLOCK

Then why are people friends?

WATSON

You’re friends with someone because you enjoy their

company. Because you want to be around them. They

provide something for you, emotionally, that you need

and in exchange you provide something they need.

SHERLOCK

What if I don’t need anything?

WATSON

Everyone needs something Sherlock. You just have to

figure out what that is.

SHERLOCK

I suppose despite my superior intellect I remain

ignorant on the topic of human comraderie. Perhaps

this is an area where you can continue to educate me.

WATSON

Sure Sherlock. I can do that.

SHERLOCK

Excellent I think we should begin with…

WATSON

Tomorrow Sherlock. I’ll educate you tomorrow. Now go

to sleep.

SHERLOCK

Good night Watson.

WATSON

Good night Sherlock.
