After a miserable day at work, followed by an even more miserable walk in the rain all I wanted to do was curl up in bed. But, no rest for the weary, it’s Friday and we have a show. I’m gonna be honest I wasn’t feeling up to it, but as the stage manager you can’t really call in sick. However, leave it to the Met to turn a Friday bad mood into a good one. I mean how do you stay cranky with a show like End Days? It has Jewish Elvis, Stephan Hawking, and Jesus in it. Not to mention the greatest, weirdest, most wonderful cast in the world. The stuff these people talk about backstage is ridiculous. I don’t think I would ever be allowed to write another blog post if I put some of it in here. So, if you’ve had a crummy week and a miserable Friday the best medicine is End Days. Whether you’re backstage or in the audience it will leave you saying TGIF!
