MET’s Ensemble School Youth Classes are designed to teach basic acting skills through theatre games that build confidence and foster concentration, creativity and imagination.

ACTING OUT!

Ages 7-9

Mondays beginning February 12
4:30-5:30pm • $170

Instructor: Molly Parchment (Section 1)
Instructor: Adian Chapman (Secton 2)

Students will stimulate their imaginations with theatre games and exercises that build self confidence and encourage the creative mind. Children’s literature will serve as a foundation for introducing character and analysis. This class has a rotating curriculum, so returning students will continue to be challenged.

 PERFORMANCE SKILLS

Ages 10-12

Mondays beginning February 12
5:45-6:45pm • $170

Instructor: Molly Parchment (Section 1)
Instructor: Aidan Chapman (Section 2)

Students will use improv, scene work, vocal techniques and explore ensemble-based movement to create realistic acting within an ensemble structure. This class has a rotating curriculum, so returning students will continue to be challenged.

YOUTH ENSEMBLE

Grades 5-12

Rehearsals Tuesday/Sunday

Students will rehearse for and perform in All students are guaranteed a role in Into the Woods, Jr. Students will participate in an audition workshop to prepare them for future auditions and their audition for the show. Audition workshop will be held Thursday, February 15 with auditions being held on Sunday, February 18.
