AIDS MEMORIAL QUILT

AT DISTRICT ARTS THROUGH OCTOBER 29

By sharing the story of the struggle against HIV/AIDS, we remember, in perpetuity, the lives lost, we offer healing and hope to survivors, and we inspire new generations of activists in the fight against stigma, denial, and hate, for a just future.”

In conjunction with our production of Angels in America, MET has partnered with District Arts, Parlights and The Frederick Center to bring the AIDS Memorial Quilt to Frederick. Visit District Arts to witness a this incredibly moving section of the quilt that brought awareness to the AIDS epidemic while honoring those lost and surviving the disease.
