REGISTRATION FOR FUN CAMP 2026 TO OPEN DECEMBER 28
Our wildly popular summer theatre camp: FUNCamp 2026 returns for another summer of exciting Theatre Arts opportunities! As an MD State Licensed Youth Day Camp (license # 10-YC-13282), the safety of our FUNCampers, staff, and artists is of the utmost importance to us!
– All of our Teaching Artists are fingerprinted and background checked; and have received training and certification in First Aid/CPR, threat/violence aversion, and other best practices education in working with under-age children;
– Our facilities are climate-controlled and routinely inspected by the City and State to ensure safety for our FUNCampers;
– MET’s FUNCamp maintains an at-least one trained adult to every ten FUNCampers ratio;
– A registered nurse is on call all summer long;
– Our staff practices both preventative and supportive discipline techniques;
– We proudly offer a robust and regionally-acclaimed theater arts curriculum; and
– Provide a no-pressure, enlightening, and stimulating performing arts summer experience for our FUNCampers!

Points of Note:
- All sessions are one week long, unless otherwise noted.
- Once registration is open, you are encouraged to sign up early to secure your spot!
- Refund requests must be sent at least 30 working days prior to the start of the session. There is a non-refundable $100 deposit. View our refund policies.
- Early Bird ends January 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM! Tuition increases by $25 on February 1, 2025 at midnight.
SESSION 1: JUNE 15 – JUNE 18
This camp his held from 9am – 12pm.
Tiny Stages (ages 5 – 6) • $205 early bird tuition; $230 regular tuition
Do you love fairy tales? Pirates? Farm Animals? Castles? Bring your favorite stories to life! Through imaginative play, movement, music, and craft activities our young FUN Campers will envision and realize a new world and present a short sharing of their journeys for families and friends at the end of each of the four camp dates.
SESSION 2: JUNE 22 – JUNE 26
Musical Theatre (ages 7 – 11 & 12 – 16) • $375 early bird tuition; $400 regular tuition
Work on becoming a triple threat by combining acting, singing, and dancing. FUN Campers will be led through a morning workout then move through their day working on scenes, songs, and dances from some of Broadway’s greatest treasures. A short musical theatre piece is performed at the end of the week for family and friends.
SESSION 3: JUNE 29 – JULY 2 (no camp Friday, July 3)
Tiny Stages (ages 5 – 6) • $205 early bird tuition; $230 regular tuition
Camp day is from 9 AM – 12 PM

A Musical Revue (ages 12 – 16) • $305 early bird tuition; $330 regular tuition
Camp day is from 9 AM – 2 PM
Love musicals? Singing? Dancing? FUN Campers will pull from their favorite musical theatre songs to create a showcase of their talents.
SESSION 4: JULY 6 – JULY 10)
$325 early bird tuition; $400 regular tuition
Creating Theatre (Ages 7 – 11): You become actor, set, costume, lighting, sound, and prop designer. Each day will focus on a different area of theatrical design, as well as different acting, movement, and voice techniques. Working with theatre professionals, students will explore creative expression as they bring a play to life. Students rehearsal for a final show to be performed for family and friends at the end of the week.
Improv/Comedy Jam (ages 12 – 16): Class clowns and wallflowers alike are all welcome! Basic improv excercises, stand-up comedy techniques, and comedy scene work are all fused to help FUN Campers learn how to write, create, and perform an original student-crafted comedy improv show, all while building confidence and honing public speaking skills. A final Improv Jam will be performed for family and friends at the end of the week.
Costume Design (ages 12 – 16): A character’s costume can tell the audience so much about who they are! FUN Campers will explore the process of a costume designer from page to stage through period research, design, and rendering skills and construction techniques. Daily activities will include creating costume plots, distressing costumes, utilizing unconventional materials, embellishing and altering items off the rack to create unique looks and more!
SESSION 5: JULY 13 – JULY 17

Performance Project (ages 12 – 16) FUN Campers will create an original theatre piece utilizing ensemble-based excercises, principles that are the core of MET. This is a chance to use their own voices to really shape the future of theatre. Become write, director, performer, and artist while building a show from the ground up to be performed for family and friends at the end of the week.
SESSION 6: JULY 20 – JULY 24
$325 early bird tuition; $400 regular tuition
