New classes begin week of February 5 and run for 12 weeks. Please note that package rates only apply if the same person is taking multiple classes. However, we do offer family member discounts. ADULT CLASSES 

Adult Acting • Scene Study

Students will leave this class with skills to tackle any role they may encounter. The course will explore core concepts in understanding the actor’s process. Scene study will incorporate script analysis and research, along with characterization, to assist students in preparing for any role. This course will also focus on audition preparation.

Adult Improv Basics 101

 

 

Learn the basics of Improv in this Foundation class. Students will learn to use “yes – and”, playing at the top of their intelligence, active listening and support to create improvised scenes. Students will also learn basic short form improvisation games and how to use improv as a tool in their professional lives. Package rates apply.

Adult Improv 201

(Improv 101 and 201 required) Students will explore Long Form Improvisation. Using skills learned in the 101 and 201 class, students will learn how to build scene structure and advanced character development. Harold, Armando and La Ronde are some of the Long Form Styles that will be explored. Package rates apply.

TEEN CLASSES   

Ages 13 – 17 • Teen Improv

An hour of short and long form improv games and scenes that encourage on-the-spot thinking, creativity and fun! This semester we will also be delving into various other forms of improvisational-based creation.

If you are enrolling for teen improv and a teen acting class, please choose the package when checking out for a savings.  

Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm • $180

Ages 13-17 • Teen Acting

YOUTH CLASSES   

Ages 4-6 • Creative Dramatics

Using children’s literature and other story telling devises, students will stimulate their imaginations through interactive guided play using theatre techniques and games. This is a non-exhibitory class which focuses on an interactive experience between students rather than an audience. This class has a rotating curriculum, so returning students will continue to be challenged.

Ages 7-9 • Acting Out!

Students will stimulate their imaginations with theatre games and exercises that build self confidence and encourage the creative mind why also training the body and trying to keep a good health with the use of diet and supplements as kratom capsules. Children’s literature will serve as a foundation for introducing character and analysis. This class has a rotating curriculum, so returning students will continue to be challenged.

Ages 10-12 Performance Skills

Students will use improv, scene work, vocal techniques and explore ensemble-based movement to create realistic acting within an ensemble structure. This class has a rotating curriculum, so returning students will continue to be challenged.
