Intern

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
We seek to provide learning opportunities for qualified students, graduates and young professionals who are eager to acquire hands-on experience in a not-for-profit arts environment. Internships provide valuable experience in a variety of areas including production, non-profit management, marketing, development and theatre education. While there are required administrative duties, internships can be tailored to the interests of the intern.

MET’s Internship Program is intended for candidates who possess the ability to work independently, as well as a collaborative spirit. Applicants are expected to demonstrate entry-level proficiency in their chosen areas and the desire to develop job skills through the diverse opportunities available at the MET. Intern applicants should possess basic computer literacy, excellent teamwork and communication skills, initiative and flexibility. Prospective interns should note that at this time we are not offering internships in design, acting or directing.

Currently the MET is only offering unpaid internships but we are pleased to cooperate with institutions that offer academic credit for internships.
